Snack with Santa

Above is shown one of the winning classes of the poster contest from Snack with Santa that was sponsored by the Coal Country Chamber of Commerce. The second grade class of Mindy Savant enjoyed a pizza party on Wed, January 20, donated by Papa JoDanni's Restaurant. In the picture beside Mrs. Savant are (names not in order pictured) Lydia Bersch, Simon Boedecker, Jacob Brown, Nathan Burns, Keighlee Cox, Lena Dalton, Jeremy Dunaway, Abby Hattenbach, Tammy Hopper, James Jett, Collin Johnson, Anthony Kravanya, Addi Lamperter, Carson Link, Emily May, MacKenzy Mix, Tamaree Petty, Laura Polo, Heaven Schehl, and Jesse Thompson. Absent from party was class member Mallory Clark.

At the Snack with Santa event in December, each class of Benld Elementary School submitted a poster to help decorate the hall. One winner was chosen from each grade level. Other classes that enjoyed winning pizza parties were: Preschool—Mrs. Niehaus’s A.M. Class, Kindergarten—Mrs. Hostettler’s Class, 1st Grade—Mrs. Luketich’s Class, 3^rd Grade—Mrs. Plovich’s class, 4^th Grade—Mr. Smith’s Class, and 5^th Grade—Mrs. Smith’s Class.
